Fused Glass Stripes

 

Maybe it’s the bright colors, or the way those colors make light dance, or something more nuanced about the lines – but there’s something about fused glass stripes that really capture this time of year for me. They’re so simple, and yet they convey a whole world of summery feeling. A couple years ago, I wrote about the versatility of stripes – how they can seem like simply “a bunch of fantastic colors” to one person while being rife with specific meaning and associations to the next.
