I recently spent time in beautiful Parker, Colorado, installing this lobby feature wall at the Parker Recreation Center.
Parker Parks and Recreation opened the Parker Recreation Center in 1994. A state of the art facility with a triple gymnasium, indoor pool, wide span of class offerings, and more, it’s no surprise that this place is wildly popular. In fact, Parker Parks and Recreation has won multiple national awards for excellence, thanks in part to the Center.
Parker Recreation Center is now undergoing an exciting expansion. Visible from outdoors, my installation stands 6’ high and 14’ wide behind the reception desk, beckoning members to come inside and enjoy the Center’s many offerings. The bold colors were inspired by the surrounding natural environment, which is filled with mountains, parks, ponds, and creeks. I enjoyed working with architect Sink Combs Dethlefs on this project.
