Another little “Throwback Thursday” share, as I sift through some older projects this week…
The above elevator lobby art glass wall was created for the GTECH Center in Providence about nine years ago, but remains one of my favorite projects given its source of inspiration – the annual site-specific WaterFire installation (more on that subject in this post). As with the Fallsgrove Plaza project that I posted last week and recent work at Longwood Center, this piece is designed to bring light, color, and a sense of possibility to an otherwise dead corridor where people wait for the elevator.
