The GTECH Center was built near Waterplace park, the site of Waterfire, an art installation of floating bonfires on the Providence River. The architectural glass art treats a dead wall in the elevator corridor. After hours, the backlit feature wall gives the lobby a nighttime presence. Sawtooth glass tiles were used to create this work. To learn more about this technique, please visit the sawtooth glass techniques page.
