Sacred Space for the New Year

As we move into 2017, I imagine many people might be feeling the need for a little sacred space – whatever that might mean to you.

Luckily, the Huffington Post figured the same and recently published “28 Sacred Spaces That Capture The Stunning Beauty Of Religious Architecture,” featuring the winners of the 2016 International Awards Program for Religious Art & Architecture (hosted by Faith & Form and the AIA Interfaith Forum on Religion, Art and Architecture). I’m honored that my glass screens for Temple Adath Israel in Merion Station, Pennsylvania are featured with the work of Atkin Olshin Schade Architects in the Liturgical/Interior Design category.

All of the images in the article are quite stunning. Scrolling through them offers a sense of peace that’s (almost) like being right there in each space; have a look and enjoy a few moments of wonder.

Best wishes for a safe, healthy, and peaceful new year!
