Themes and Variations: 650 Massachusetts Avenue

For an installment of “Themes and Variations,” above is one of several conceptual renderings that I created for 650 Massachusetts Avenue, a development by Brookfield Properties in Washington D.C.

For this project, eventually titled Solar Passage, the client and I had already determined that we wanted warm colors in this particular part of the entrance lobby. Therefore, my design exploration honed in on some different possibilities for a warm color palette and in the arrangement of the glass tiles.
