Variations on Themes in Custom Art Glass

 

Any time I’m developing a new work of custom art glass, I like to draft many variations on a single theme. Often the initial theme emerges from my conversations with clients about what they are seeking; and then I create a range of variations on that theme, both as a way of personally exploring that theme and so that my clients have options from which to choose. In the image above, you can see a few of the variations that I generated toward the final custom art glass wall that I installed at Silver Towers, a premiere Manhattan residential complex developed by Silverstein Properties in New York.
